Raspberry Pi

The most popular and cost-effective choice. We recommend the Raspberry Pi 4 (4GB) or Pi 5 for smooth 4K playback.

Android & TV SoC

Install our app directly on your Android-powered Smart TV or external Android media boxes (like Fire TV or Chromecast).

Windows & Linux

Any modern PC can be used as a Gecko Signage player, perfect for high-performance video walls or complex interactive displays.

Basic Connectivity

• Network: Ethernet is highly recommended for reliability, though Wi-Fi is fully supported.
• Power: Use the manufacturer-provided power supply to avoid intermittent reboots.
• Display: Connect via HDMI and set the resolution to "Auto" or the native display resolution.

Environmental Tips

Ensure your hardware has proper ventilation, especially if it's mounted behind a screen or in a small enclosure. Heat is the main cause of hardware failure in signage.
