Organizations
Organizations are the highest level of hierarchy in Gecko Signage. They allow you to group your devices, playlists, and media in a shared space, making it easy to collaborate with your team.
Managing Organizations
You can access your organizations through the organization switcher located at the bottom of the sidebar. This allows you to quickly jump between different business units or clients.
Creating an Organization
- Open the organization switcher in the sidebar.
- Click on "Create New Organization".
- Enter a unique name and optional description for your organization.
- Choose a logo to represent your brand.
Switching Organizations
When you switch an organization, your entire dashboard updates to show only the assets (devices, media, etc.) belonging to that specific organization. This ensures a clean workspace and clear data separation.
Team Management
Collaborate with your team by inviting members to your organization. You can assign different roles (Admin, Editor, Viewer) to control access levels and ensure that only authorized people can make major changes.

Use descriptive names for your organizations to make it easier for your team to navigate between different projects or clients.
